Budgeting has been rebuilt and runs on both Mac and PC. Movie Magic Budgeting (MMB) has retained the keystrokes and shortcut keys you are accustomed to, while creating a dynamic new application.

  1. Once you log in, you will be greeted by the new Open and Manage screen. Here, you can import MMB7 files by clicking on Import MMB7 Budget and access all your budgets, even those that are shared with you. Manage them in different folders by clicking on Move to Project drop-down and archive them by selecting the budget file and then clicking on Archive, if needed.
  2. MMB has a new look and feel. There is a fresh new UI and displays in high definition with all modern hardware devices. You have multiple options for resizing and placing windows and will find its responsiveness to be immediate and nimble.
  3. Access all Setup Items in the Budget Setup window. Utilize the tools such as Fringes and Groups and create categories for them.
  4. Use the Cloud Library to enable setup items saved on any of your other budgets. Just log in to access your cloud from any machine - anytime, anywhere.
  5. Navigation in your budget has been made easier. When you drill down into an Account, simply click on the breadcrumbs to flip between accounts and sub-accounts.
  6. The Setup Items and Tools are always available on the right side or at the bottom of the window. Click the Window icon on the far right to switch the locations.
  7. You can get your changes take effect in real time, when you add or remove Fringes and Groups.
  8. When you make a change in Setup, the budget will update in real time without you having to click Save. This new AutoSave functionality in Setup will save your time.
  9. You can just type the new Globals, Units, Locations, Sets, and Currencies directly into the detail line and apply to create them.
  10. The new type ahead feature puts all setup tool options at your fingertips. Fill in your budgets quicker and with more accuracy.
  11. Add Notes for others, or reminders for yourself on any line of your budget, just by right-clicking and selecting Add Note.
  12. Print your reports with the information you need. Add and remove columns to your report with an easy selecting and de-selecting option. You can even select the Categories and Accounts you would like to include, add additional reports, and control the order of how the report is printed.
  13. Collaborate with other Movie Magic users on your team by sharing your budget using Share button in the toolbar.
