Summary: This article details process for the user to use the cloud storage for the Setup Items like Fringes, Groups, and Globals, so they can be used for any budget further if needed, in the new Movie Magic Budgeting program.

Solution:

You can use cloud storage for your Setup Items, so you can more easily store and utilize items like Globals and Fringes on your other budgets.

  1. Once inside of your budget, click any of the setup items at the top of your screen. As an example, shown in the below video, click on Globals.
  2. On the left-hand side, the blue background for Budget will indicate that you are viewing the setup items inside of your Budget.
  3. To see all the different items that you can store on the cloud, click through the categories. On some, you will see a column labeled Cloud with cloud icons present. These items can be stored on the cloud.
  4. Back in our example using Globals, locate the Global you wish to store on the cloud.
  5. Click the Upload to Your Cloud Library Icon. An upload confirmation screen will appear. Click the Upload and Continue button.
  6. Next, on the left-hand side, click on Cloud Library and select the category for your item. Your newly uploaded Global will be displayed in the window.
  7. From here, you can create categories using the Add button and then move selected items to these categories with the Move to Category button.
  8. In the future, if you are working on a new budget and want to download and apply your cloud setup items, from the Budget Setup window, click Cloud Library.
  9. At the top, select the type of setup item you are looking for. As part of our demonstration, select Globals.
  10. Click to select the Global you wish to download.
  11. In the Budget column, click the Download to the Budget icon. A confirmation screen will appear. Click the Download and Continue button. Now, your setup item will be downloaded to your new budget.
